Jason Andrew Cart is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter and director. After directing numerous music videos and commercial content, he penned three screenplays and sold FIGHTING SHADOWS (2016). He followed with his next feature script ZERO ORGANISM (2017) which placed Top 20% at Nicholl.
His recent screenplay WILLIAM SEVEN (2018) placed Top 15% at Nicholl and was a quarterfinalist at Austin.
A Los Angeles native, Jason began his career writing and directing for the stage. After the success of THE DEATH ARTIST, he wrote and directed REFLECTIONS to sold-out shows and his first film option. His follow up LONE STAR attracted the attention of Dick Van Dyke, who hired him to direct ’59 PINK THUNDERBIRD.
He lives with his wife Sara and is currently penning his next feature.
